The UAE’s Advanced Technology Research Council (ATRC) is mandated by the Government to shape a vibrant research and development (R&D) ecosystem in Abu Dhabi.

ATRC is committed to supporting the UAE’s transformation into a knowledge-based economy. Through our three subsidiaries, we are responsible for driving strategic research priorities and the commercialization of advanced technology.

 

 

 

ATRC's mission is to foster a dynamic R&D ecosystem, attract both local and international research talent, and accelerate the development and commercialization of cutting-edge technologies for a brighter future. The Council's mandate extends across a diverse range of critical sectors, including healthcare, sustainability, aerospace, food and agriculture, safety and security, and transport – all vital to the UAE's economic diversification goals.
